First Aid Training

We offer many First Aid Training courses including the following.
Level 3 First Aid at Work Course – Three Days
Basic Life Support – Duration – 4 hours
Emergency First Aid at Work – Duration – 6 hours
First Aid at Work, Re-Qualification – Duration – Two Days
Paediatric First Aid to Ofsted requirements – Duration – 12 hours
Paediatric Emergency First Aid – Duration – 6 hours
Emergency First Aid for Drivers – Driver CPC – Duration – 7 hours

All our first aid courses meet Health & Safety Recommended Standards
Our First Aid Training is carried out under the ProTrainings banner. They meet all of the current requirements for industry standards in First Aid Training. They are continually monitored to ensure that they comply with all current legislation and all Health & Safety Executive & Ofqual recommendations. For all of our training courses the delegates will be provided with refreshments throughout the day. On successful completion of the course the delegate will be awarded with a qualification card (if applicable) and a certificate. Our Driver CPC course is fully JAUPT Approved and includes the necessary upload fee. From our base in the heart of East Anglia we are a perfect training choice for road transport companies throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex

It is a legal requirement to have sufficient numbers of qualified emergency first aid at work employees. This is law throughout the business world and applies to all trades. If you fall into the required categories (see HSE website for details). It is important to provide the correct level of First Aid Training to cover the accounted risks.

- The role of the first aider
- Contents of first aid kits
- Effective Barriers (avoiding cross infection)
- Recording of incidents and accidents
- Assessing the situation in an emergency
- Administer first aid to a casualty who;
- is unconscious (including seizures)
- requires cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- is choking
- is wounded or bleeding
- is in shock
- has minor conditions – to include: minor cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds, small splinters
- Administer first aid to a casualty with;
- injuries to bones, muscles, joints including suspected spinal injury
- sudden poisoning
- burns and scalds
- eye injuries
- Anaphylactic shock and use of auto-injectors
- Recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid including heart attack and use of aspirin, stroke, epilepsy, asthma & diabetes
